Begin with a guided walk through scent & flower gardens, discovering where botanical essential oils come from, exploring the concept of fragrance oils and learning a little of the chemistry behind scent. Hear our lavender farming story and discover how we create lavender essential oil, from growing and harvesting to distillation.

Then settle into our workshop beside the private lake (weather permitting) or in the commercial marquee at our farm gate; this is an exclusive space reserved for scented workshop guests.

Guided by our farm owners and botanical facilitators with over 20 years of scent creation and botanical candle making experience, you’ll create your own candle fragrance and pour a 100% soy wax candle into a luxe glass vessel. You’ll also blend your own scented diffuser oil to take home with diffuser reeds and an alternate glass lid.

Designed for a second life, your versatile vessel transforms into a beautiful glass diffuser once you’ve finished enjoying your candle. Simply clean the empty vessel as instructed, add your diffuser blend, fit the alternate lid and arrange your reeds to continue the scent experience at home.

After creating your own scented products, return to our farm restaurant for botanical tastings. Enjoy lavender scones with jam and cream, a choice of botanical teas or coffee, a glass of bubbles, and artisan-made botanical ice creams created especially for the farm.

Once your workshop concludes, you’re welcome to linger a little longer and explore the gardens and fields at your own pace—a very relaxed way to finish your time on the farm.
